VETERANS USE THE POWER OF FREE LEGAL AID TO CHANGE THEIR LIVES, RESTORE HOPE, AND TO HEAL. WITH THE ONGOING SUPPORT OF COMPASSIONATE AND COURAGEOUS DONORS, VLI CONTINUES TO ADD CRITICAL STAFF, TO MENTOR AND TRAIN DOZENS OF LAW STUDENTS, AND TO EXPAND ITS PRO BONO ATTORNEY NETWORK. IN PURSUIT OF HOLISTIC CARE, VLI CONTINUES TO BE CREATIVE IN DELIVERING FREE LEGAL AID THROUGH VIRTUAL CLINICS, PROACTIVE OUTREACH, AND CAREFULLY NAVIGATING IN PERSON SUPPORT WHENEVER HEALTH AND SAFETY ALLOWS. FREE LEGAL AID HAS CONTINUED WITHOUT INTERRUPTION, AND VETERANS EXPRESS THEIR GRATITUDE DAILY -- MANY WITH THE SENTIMENT THAT HAVING ACCESS JUSTICE MEANT THE WORLD TO THEM -- ALLOWING THEM THE CHANCE TO FACE ANOTHER DAY AND TAKE THE NEXT STEPS TO BUILDING A BRIGHTER FUTURE.
