THE ORGANIZATION'S PRIMARY PURPOSE IS TO PROVIDE DISABLED PEOPLE WITH HOUSING FACILITIES AND SERVICES SPECIALLY DESIGNATED TO MEET THEIR PHYSICAL, SOCIAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL NEEDS AND TO PROMOTE THEIR HEALTH, SECURITY, HAPPINESS AND USEFULNESS IN LONGER LIVING.

The goal of this organization is to bring together individuals or organizations with a common professional or vocational interest within the Education major group area.

The goal of this organization are the private foundations that make grants based on charitable endowments. Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

FAMILY PROMISE OF THE SOUTH BAY ASSISTS FAMILIES EXPERIENCING HOUSING INSECURITY WITH SHORT-TERM SHELTER, CASE MANAGEMENT, AND NAVIGATION WITH THE GOAL OF CREATING A SUSTAINABLE SOLUTION FOR THEIR FAMILY.

TORRANCE CHINESE SCHOOL IS A NON-PROFIT, NON-RELIGIOUS AND NON-POLITICAL EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION WHICH PROVIDES A FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT FOR STUDENTS WHO ARE INTERESTED IN LEARNING THE CHINESE LANGUAGE. THE SCHOOL OFFERS CLASSES NOT ONLY FOR SCHOOL-AGED CHILDREN, BUT ALSO FOR ADULTS WHO LIKE TO EXPLORE CHINESE LANGUAGE AND CULTURES. ALL SCHOOL ACTIVITIES ARE TO PROMOTE CHINESE CULTURES AND TO ENCOURAGE THE LEARNING OF CHINESE LANGUAGE.
