FOUNDED WITH THE OBJECTIVE TO CREATE AN EFFECTIVE ORGANIZATION COMPRISED OF JAPANESE AMERICAN PROFESSIONAL WOMEN LEADERS WITH VARIOUS BUSINESS AND CREATIVE BACKGROUNDS WHO ARE COMMITTED TO COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT, SUPPORTING LOCAL CHARITIES, MENTORING YOUTH, AND CELEBRATING JAPANESE AMERICAN HERITAGE. THE PRIMARY FUNDRAISER IS THE ANNUAL MIDORI KAI BOUTIQUE.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization are the private foundations that make grants based on charitable endowments. Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

TO SERVE AT-RISK CHILDREN BY PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES, SCHOLARSHIPS, AND TRAINING.

ASSEMBLE HIGHLY NUTRITIOUS MEAL PACKAGES FOR STARVING OR MALNOURISHED CHILDREN THROUGH THE ASSEMBLY OF A HIGHLY NUTRITIOUS SOY-RICE MEAL PACKAGED BY VOLUNTEERS AND DISTRIBUTED IN THE US AND ABROAD.

THE PREMIER PROGRAM OF THE FIRST TEE TRAINS, COACHES TO TEACH LIFE SKILLS AND CORE VALUES FOCUSED CLASSES POSITIVELY IMPACTING THE LIVES OF YOUNG PEOPLE. THE FIRST TEE PROGRAMS MAKE GOLF "MORE THAN A GAME"!
