TO EMPOWER SENIORS, DISABLED ADULTS, VETERANS, AND OTHER UNDER SERVED POPULATIONS TO REMAIN INDEPENDENT BY NOURISHING THEIR BODIES, MINDS, AND SPIRITS, AND DRIVE OUR HUNGER AND ISOLATION IN OUR REGION.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to provide informal arts educational programming and/or instruction but do not grant diplomas or degrees; or which offer services regarding the arts to educational institutions or to public entities involved in education.

MISSION:

PEACE OF MIND DOG RESCUE IS A RESOURCE AND ADVOCATE FOR SENIOR DOGS AND SENIOR PEOPLE ON THE CENTRAL COAST. WE FIND HOMES FOR DOGS WHOSE GUARDIANS CAN NO LONGER CARE FOR THEM AND FOR SENIOR DOGS IN SHELTERS.

IS TO PROVIDE A CARING AND STIMULATING ENVIRONMENT WHERE PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES CAN ACHIEVE THEIR INDIVIDUAL GOALS, SAFELY AND WITH DIGNITY.

THE MUSEUM FOUNDATION OPERATES THE MUSEUM THROUGH A SUCCESSFUL PUBLIC-PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP WITH THE CITY OF PACIFIC GROVE AND SERVES AS A HUB FOR SCIENTIFIC AND HISTORICAL LEARNING FOR OVER 50,000 PEOPLE EACH YEAR THROUGH EXHIBITIONS, EDUCATION PROGRAMS, AND COMMUNITY EVENTS.

DEDICATED TO FINDING LIFE-LONG LOVING HOMES FOR STRAY, ABANDONED AND ABUSED ANIMALS. THE ORGANIZATION CONCENTRATES ON NETWORKING WITH OTHER WELFARE AGENCIES IN THE COUNTY AND STATE TO PROVIDE A SAFETY NET FOR ANIMALS WITH THE LEAST CHANCE OF SURVIVAL IN OUR LOCAL SHELTERS.

MISSION:

SUPPORT OF THE PACIFIC GROVE PUBLIC LIBRARY: THE MISSION OF THE FRIENDS OF THE PACIFIC GROVE PUBLIC LIBRARY IS TO ENCOURAGE AND MAINTAIN A BROAD-BASED SUPPORT FOR THE LIBRARY. THROUGH ITS FINANCIAL SUPPORT, THE FRIENDS WORKS WITH THE LIBRARY TO DEVELOP RESOURCES, LIBRARY SERVICES, AND FACILITIES FOR THE COMMUNITY. THE FRIENDS ACTIVELY RECRUITS LIBRARY PATRONS AND SOLICITS FUNDING FOR THE LIBRARY THROUGH DONATIONS, AND FUND RAISERS.

THE MISSION OF CANCER PATIENTS ALLIANCE IS FOCUSED ON IMPROVING HEALTH OUTCOMES FOR CANCER PATIENTS THROUGH CANCER EDUCATION, ADDRESSING HEALTH DISPARITIES IN THE TIME OF COVID AND ENABLING CANCER PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES TO BECOME ACTIVE PARTNERS IN THEIR MEDICAL CARE.

MISSION:

THE MISSION OF THE SOCIETY OF ST VINCENT DE PAUL IS TO SERVE THE NEEDY. FUNDS FOR THE ORGANIZATION ARE GENERATED LARGELY FROM DONATIONS OF CASH AND PERSONAL PROPERTY. DONATED CLOTHING AND HOUSEHOLD ITEMS ARE SOLD OR GIVEN OUT IN THE TWO THRIFT STORES. DONATED AND PURCHASED GROCERIES ARE DISTRIBUTED AT THE FOOD CUPBOARD. CALLERS ARE HELPED WITH EMERGENCY FAMILY NEEDS.

The goal of this organization are the organizations like chambers of commerce, business leagues and commercial trade associations whose members are businessmen and women and merchants who have affiliated for the purpose of promoting the general commercial interests of the community or the interests of their own trade. [Many of these are found in section 501(c)(6) business leagues; and 501(c)(6) chambers of commerce.]

The goal of this organization is to promote international understanding through activities, such as events, forums, trainings, and exchanges, which enable people to develop an appreciation for other societies, their traditions and culture.

TO PROMOTE EDUCATION IN THE SIGNALS, SYSTEMS, COMPUTER AND HIGH TECHNOLOGY FIELDS, INCLUDING, SPECIFICALLY AND WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE DISSEMINATION OF THE MOST UP-TO-DATE STATE-OF-THE-ART INFORMATION AVAILABLE IN THE AREAS OF SIGNALS, SYSTEMS AND COMPUTERS. SUCH INFORMATION IS PRESENTED AT AN ANNUAL CONFERENCE KNOWN AS THE ASILOMAR CONFERENCE ON SIGNALS, SYSTEMS, AND COMPUTERS, TOGETHER WITH THE DISTRIBUTION TO THOSE ATTENDING OF A COMPENDIUM OF THE PAPERS PRESENTED.
