MEALS ON WHEELS OF THE MONTEREY PENINSULA/SALLY GRIFFIN CENTER PROGRAMS PROMOTE PHYSICAL, SOCIAL, EMOTIONAL WELL BEING AND INDEPENDENCE OF SENIORS, HOMEBOUND, FRAIL AND DISABLED ADULTS OF THE MONTEREY PENINSULA.

The goal of this organization is to provide informal arts educational programming and/or instruction but do not grant diplomas or degrees; or which offer services regarding the arts to educational institutions or to public entities involved in education.

MISSION:

PEACE OF MIND DOG RESCUE IS A RESOURCE AND ADVOCATE FOR SENIOR DOGS AND SENIOR PEOPLE ON THE CENTRAL COAST. WE FIND HOMES FOR DOGS WHOSE GUARDIANS CAN NO LONGER CARE FOR THEM AND FOR SENIOR DOGS IN SHELTERS.

THE MUSEUM FOUNDATION OPERATES THE MUSEUM THROUGH A SUCCESSFUL PUBLIC-PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP WITH THE CITY OF PACIFIC GROVE AND SERVES AS A HUB FOR SCIENTIFIC AND HISTORICAL LEARNING FOR OVER 50,000 PEOPLE EACH YEAR THROUGH EXHIBITIONS, EDUCATION PROGRAMS, AND COMMUNITY EVENTS.

DONATED CLOTHING AND HOUSEHOLD ITEMS ARE SOLD OR GIVEN OUT IN THE TWO THRIFT STORES. DONATED AND PURCHASED GROCERIES ARE DISTRIBUTED AT THE FOOD CUPBOARD.

THE MISSION OF CANCER PATIENTS ALLIANCE IS FOCUSED ON IMPROVING HEALTH OUTCOMES FOR CANCER PATIENTS THROUGH CANCER EDUCATION, ADDRESSING HEALTH DISPARITIES IN THE TIME OF COVID AND ENABLING CANCER PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES TO BECOME ACTIVE PARTNERS IN THEIR MEDICAL CARE.
