BIKING FOR A BETTER WORLD FOSTERS NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL AMATEUR SPORTS COMPETITION, WHICH WILL BE ACCOMPLISHED BY, AMONG OTHER THINGS, CONDUCTING FUNDRAISING, PROVIDING INSTRUCTION ON THE SPORT OF BIKING AND PROMOTING THE SAME, BUILDING COMMUNITY BIKE PARKS AND BIKE TRAILS, HOSTING AMATEUR BIKE RACES, AND HOSTING AND PROMOTING YOUTH ACTIVITIES.

MISSION:

OLYMPIC VALLEY FREERIDE TEAM, "OVFFT," IS ORGANIZED TO SUPPORT AND DEVELOP AMATEUR ATHLETES, PREDOMINANTLY AGED 8 TO 19, BY PROVIDING ADVANCED EDUCATION AND TRAINING IN THE TECHNIQUES OF FREERIDE AND FREESTYLE SKIING. OVFFT ALSO CONDUCTS AND PARTICIPATES IN USSA SANCTIONED COMPETITIONS, PROVIDING PARTICIPANTS OPPORTUNITIES TO ADVANCE THEIR STANDING WITH THE USSA. OVFFT ALSO OFFERS SCHOLARSHIPS TO JUNIOR HIGH AND SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS IN THE NORTH TAHOE/TRUCKEE AREA.

THE SCOTTY LAPP FOUNDATION IS DEDICATED TO EMPOWERING YOUTH BY MAKING SKI, SNOWBOARD AND SKATE MORE ACCESSIBLE TO UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES AND ASSISTING ATHLETES IN REACHING THEIR FULL POTENTIAL.

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people to learn and become competitive in ice hockey, ice skating, alpine and cross-country skiing, sledding/tobogganing and other winter sports. Coaching; access to skating rinks, ski slopes or other facilities; sports equipment; and officials for competitions are generally included.

("PTO") IS TO IMPROVE THE WELFARE AND EDUCATION OF THE STUDENTS ATTENDING CREEKSIDE CHARTER SCHOOL ("CREEKSIDE"), A CALIFORNIA PUBLIC CHARTER SCHOOL, 1916 CHAMONIX PLACE, OLYMPIC VALLEY, CALIFORNIA.IN PARTICULAR, THE PTO:A. PROVIDES FUNDS THAT ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR EDUCATION IN SUBJECTS THAT ARE DEEMED APPROPRIATE BY THE PTO. B. PROVIDES FUNDS FOR EDUCATIONAL EQUIPMENT, MATERIALS, SUPPLIES, AND RELATED ITEMS THAT WILL ASSIST IN THE STUDENTS' EDUCATION AND LEARNING.C. ENCOURAGES A CLOSER AND MORE EFFECTIVE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE STUDENTS, PARENTS, TEACHERS AND STAFF OF CREEKSIDE.D. INFORMS PARENTS OF THE ISSUES, PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES OF CREEKSIDE.E. The goal of this organization is to enable students who demonstrate financial need to obtain the financial assistance they require to meet their educational and living expenses while in school.

The goal of this organization is to preserve and protect water resources from indiscriminate waste and ensure that the supply of quality water is adequate to meet the needs of the public, agriculture and industry. Also included are organizations that preserve and manage coastal lands including shorelines, coastal waters and lands extending inland from the shore which affect coastal waters; bays, lakes, rivers, wetlands, estuaries, watersheds and other aquatic habitats.
