GOLDEN EAGLE CHARTER SCHOOL IS AN INDEPENDENT STUDY CHARTER SCHOOL THAT PROVIDES A VOLUNTARY PUBLIC EDUCATIONAL CHOICE FOR FAMILIES OF STUDENTS WHO CHOOSE TO EDUCATE THEIR CHILDREN IN THE HOME ENVIRONMENT. GOLDEN EAGLE SERVES STUDENTS IN GRADES KINDERGARTEN THROUGH TWELVE WHO RESIDE IN SISKIYOU COUNTY.

MISSION:

TO IMPROVE THE LIVES OF COMPANION ANIMALS BY SHELTERING, REHABILITATING, REDUCING PET OVERPOPULATION AND FINDING PERMANENT HOMES. WE PROMOTE RESPONSIBLE PET OWNERSHIP, KINDNESS TO ANIMALS AND ENHANCEMENT OF HUMAN-ANIMAL RELATIONSHIPS THROUGH EDUCATION AND OUTREACH.

PROVIDES VOCATIONAL TRAINING AND REHABILITATION FOR DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED ADULTS IN SISKIYOU COUNTY CALIFORNIA.

THE PURPOSE OF THIS ORGANIZATION IS TO PROVIDE EDUCATION FROM GRADES K TO 12 IN A SMALL SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT FOR INTERESTED PARTICIPANTS.

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people of all ages to learn, become competitive in and enjoy the organized recreational activity, sport or game of their choice. These programs may be offered by local clubs devoted to a particular activity or sport; may provide individual or team coaching assistance or instruction, access to equipment and facilities, and uniforms, if necessary; and may sponsor or make arrangements for athletes to participate in amateur competitions, usually at the local or regional level, and provide officials for games. The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people to learn and become competitive in ice hockey, ice skating, alpine and cross-country skiing, sledding/tobogganing and other winter sports. Coaching; access to skating rinks, ski slopes or other facilities; sports equipment; and officials for competitions are generally included.

The goal of this organization are the organizations whose members are followers of the religion of eastern and central Asia that is based on the teachings of Gautama Buddha which stress that suffering is inherent in life and that one can achieve nirvana (release from suffering) through mental and moral self-purification. Includes Zen.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to operate community-based residential facilities which allow adult and juvenile offenders with satisfactory behavior to transition back to the community during the last months of their sentences or which provide congregate living arrangements and supportive services for ex-offenders to help them successfully reenter the community and become self-sufficient. These facilities are known as work release centers, prerelease centers, rehabilitation centers and group homes for juvenile offenders or status offenders.
