THESE CONGREGATIONS REPRESENT A BROAD RANGE OF ETHNIC AND DENOMINATIONAL CONSTITUENCIES. CLUE ENGAGES IN FAITH ROOTED ORGANIZING AS A TOOL FOR ADVANCING OUR MISSION, GROUNDED IN OUR BELIEFS. CLUE ORGANIZES RELIGIOUS LEADERS AND THEIR CONGREGATIONS USING A HYPER-LOCAL MODEL OF COMMITTEES. OUR TEAM OF FAITH-ROOTED ORGANIZERS ADDRESSES WORKER JUSTICE IN HOSPITALITY, PORTS, IMMIGRATION, AND A BROAD RANGE OF ACTIONS, AND BRINGS A MORAL VOICE TO OTHER SELECT ACTIONS ALIGNED WITH OUR MISSION.

TO ACCOMPLISH THIS PURPOSE, THE APPLICANT INTENDS TO PROVIDE (I) COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDENTS STUDYING STEM FIELDS; (II) FINANCIAL SUPPORT IN THE FORM OF GRANTS TO STEM TEACHERS FOR INNOVATIVE PROJECTS THAT ENGAGE AND ENCOURAGE PRE-COLLEGE AGE STUDENTS TO STUDY STEM FIELDS; AND (III) GRANTS TO U.S. CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS WHOSE ACTIVITIES ARE ALIGNED WITH THE ORGANIZATIONS EXEMPT PURPOSES.

LOVE & LEASHES IS LOCATED AT WESTFIELD CENTURY CITY IN LOS ANGELES, AND STARTED AS A WAY TO SHOWCASE SHELTER PETS IN A MORE WELCOMING, SERENE SETTING THAN THE TYPICAL LOCAL SHELTER OFFERS. THE ANIMALS ARE MORE ENGAGED AND LESS ANXIOUS, AND POTENTIAL ADOPTERS HAVE AN EASIER TIME CONNECTING WITH THE INDIVIDUAL DOGS AND CATS. OUR FUNDAMENTAL FOCUS IS TO HELP OUR CITY SHELTERS SAVE MORE LIVES BY REACHING LARGE NUMBERS OF PEOPLE WHO MIGHT NOT OTHERWISE VISIT OUR SHELTERS, THEREBY INCREASING THE NUMBER OF ANIMALS ADOPTED.

The goal of this organization is to engage in radio productions and broadcast, including public radio stations and radio stations that offer programming that is designed for community residents who are blind or visually impaired (radio reading services).
