MISSION:

WE ARE COMMITTED TO SEEING OUR COMMUNITY FLOURISH BY BUILDING PATHWAYS TO HOPE, HAPPINESS, AND WELL BEING. ORIGINALLY FOUNDED IN 1967, REBEKAH'S LEGAL NAME IS ODD-FELLOW REBEKAH CHILDREN'S HOME OF CALIFORNIA, DOING BUSINESS AS REBEKAH CHILDREN'S SERVICES.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization are the private foundations that make grants based on charitable endowments. Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

MISSION:

FRATERNAL ORGANIZATION RESPONSIBLE FOR 50 LODGES AND APPROXIMATELY 1,300 MEMBERS IN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA.

FOUNDED IN 1980, THE GILROY FOUNDATION WAS ORGANIZED SPECIFICALLY TO HELP THE NEEDS OF THE COMMUNITY IN THE AREAS OF HEALTH, EDUCATION, RECREATION, CULTURE AND CIVIC SERVICES.

TO OPERATE AN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION WHOSE MISSION IS TO EDUCATE AND INSPIRE FAMILIES, ESPECIALLY CHILDREN, TO APPRECIATE HORTICULTURE AND THE IMPORTANCE OF TREES IN OUR LIVES BY PROVIDING FUN AND MEMORIES IN A BEAUTIFUL GARDEN SETTING.

MISSION:

TO ALLEVIATE HUNGER AND HOMELESSNESS IN SOUTH SANTA CLARA COUNTY BY PROVIDING FOOD, HOUSING AND EMPLOYMENT RELATED SERVICES, AND ADVOCATING FOR SYSTEM CHANGES TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR THE MOST VULNERABLE PEOPLE IN THE COMMUNITIES SERVED.

THE GILROY COMPASSION CENTER IS A PATHWAY TO STABILITY THAT MAINTAINS SELF-RESPECT AND RECOGNIZES THE DIGNITY OF EACH HUMAN BEING.ITS MISSION IS TO PROVIDE ACCESS TO THE SERVICES HOMELESS PEOPLE NEED TO SURVIVE, BECOME STABLE, AND ACHIEVE SELF-SUFFICIENT LIVES.THE SOUTH COUNTY COMMPASSION CENTER'S GOALS AND OBJECTIVES ARE:PROVIDE BASIC NEEDS SUCH AS BATHROOMS, SHOWERS, LAUNDRY AND FOOD;PROVIDE A ONE-STOP CENTER WITH REFERRALS AND RESOURCES

The goal of this organization are the organizations like chambers of commerce, business leagues and commercial trade associations whose members are businessmen and women and merchants who have affiliated for the purpose of promoting the general commercial interests of the community or the interests of their own trade. [Many of these are found in section 501(c)(6) business leagues; and 501(c)(6) chambers of commerce.]

The goal of this organization are the private foundations that use a bulk of their resources to provide charitable services or run charitable programs of their own. They make few, if any, grants to outside organizations and, like private independent foundations, they generally do not raise funds from the public.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to sponsor, organize and promote fairs and festivals. Includes collectible/antique fairs, county and state fairs, street fairs, festivals, parades, and other similar activities during religious and patriotic holidays and other special occasions.

THE VISION OF THE MILLER RED BARN ASSOCIATION IS TO RESTORE THE MILLER RED BARN TO SERVE AS A SYMBOL AND REPOSITORY OF GILROY'S AGRICULTURAL HISTORY AS WELL AS A LIVING MONUMENT TO THE LIFE AND SIGNIFICANT CONTRIBUTIONS MADE BY HENRY MILLER TO GILROY AND THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA.

MISSION:

ASSISTANCE TO VETERANS AND OTHERS WITH DISABILITIES TO LIVE A QUALITY LIFE BY HELPING THE INDIVIDUALS LEARN THE NECESSARY SKILLS TO TRAIN THEIR DOGS AND THEN CERTIFY AS A SERVICE DOG TEAM.
