THE PURPOSE OF THIS CORPORATION IS TO OPERATE EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE BENEFIT OF, TO PERFORM THE FUNCTIONS OF, OR TO CARRY OUT THE PURPOSES OF RIVER CHARTER SCHOOLS (FORMERLY KNOWN AS FRIENDS OF CLARKSBURG SCHOOLS).

MISSION:

GROWING LEADERS AND SCHOLARS THROUGH COLLABORATIVE CULTURE AND COMMUNITY. RIVER CHARTER SCHOOLS WILL PROVIDE A FAMILY ORIENTED, COMMUNITY-BASED INTIMATE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT THAT IS DEVOTED TO THE ACADEMIC, SOCIAL, LINGUISTIC, AND PERSONAL SUCCESS OF EACH CHILD. ITS SCHOOLS HAVE THE PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF ENABLING ITS STUDENTS TO BECOME SELF-MOTIVATED, COMPETENT, AND LIFELONG LEARNERS.

THE ASSOCIATION PROVIDES REPRESENTATION FOR AND ADVISES MEMBERS OF MATTERS PENDING BEFORE THE STATE LEGISLATION WHICH DIRECTLY AFFECT THE INDUSTRY. ITS PURPORSES ARE TO FOSTER ETHICAL AND FAIR BUSINESS PRACTICES, TO EXCHANGE INFORMATION THAT BENEFITS THE INDUSTRY, TO PROMOTE PUBLIC RELATIONS AND TO ESTABLISH A GOVERNMETAL RELATIONS PROGRAM.

TO ACTIVELY REPRESENT AND PROMOTE THE INTERESTS OF THE COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE INDUSTRY.

The goal of this organization is to provide community improvement, capacity building services where the major purpose is unclear enough that a more specific code cannot be accurately assigned.

The goal of this organization are the organizations like chambers of commerce, business leagues and commercial trade associations whose members are businessmen and women and merchants who have affiliated for the purpose of promoting the general commercial interests of the community or the interests of their own trade. A) TO UNITE PERSONS ACTIVELY ENGAGED IN, OR INTERESTED IN THE DEVELOPMENT, MANAGEMENT, INVESTMENT IN AND THE FINANCING OF COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE THROUGH MEMBERSHIP IN A NON-PROFIT ASSOCIATION,B) TO DEVELOP BETTER STANDARDS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT, OWNERSHIP AND OPERATION OF COMMERICAL REAL ESTATE THROUGH RESEARCH, DISCUSSION AND EXCHANGE OF INFORMATION,C) TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR MEMBERS TO INCREASE THEIR KNOWLEDGE OF THE COMMERICAL REAL ESTATE INDISTURY, AND TO INCREASE THEIR INDIVIDUAL CAPABILITIES, AND D) TO ENHANCE THE GENERAL PUBLIC'S IMAGE OF THE COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE INDUSTRY.
