PROVIDE CULTURALLY SENSITIVE MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES (INDIVIDUAL THERAPY, FAMILY THERAPY AND CASE MANAGEMENT) TO MODERATELY TO SEVERELY EMOTIONALLY DISTURBED CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS WHO ARE IN LOW-INCOME HOUSEHOLDS OR IN FOSTER CARE OR GROUP HOMES. HELP RELIEVE OR REDUCE MENTAL HEALTH SYMPTOMS, MAINTAIN CHILD IN THEIR COMMUNITY OR LEAST RESTRICTIVE SETTING, STABILIZE FAMILIES AND IMPROVE SCHOOL PERFORMANCE AND BEHAVIOR.

The goal of this organization is to provide or coordinate a wide variety of programs and services that meet the needs and interests of the senior population. Also included are organizations that administer funding for senior services under Title III of the Older Americans Act.

WE BRING TOGETHER ARTIST-MENTORS, YOUTH, AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS TO LEARN AND CREATE THROUGH COMMUNITY-CENTERED PROJECTS. USING ART AS AN ORGANIZED METHODOLOGY, WE PROMOTE A MODEL THAT ACTIVELY ENGAGES IN CONVERSATIONS WITH OUR SURROUNDING COMMUNITY THROUGH THE LENS OF CONTEMPORARY ART. WE SUPPORT YOUTH TO BECOME CIVICALLY ENGAGED ARTISTS AS THEY ARE CHALLENGED TO TACKLE CURRENT SOCIAL ISSUES IN THEIR COMMUNITY THAT DIRECTLY AFFECT THEIR LIVES.

MISSION:

IFAA PROVIDES QUALIFIED INTERNS WITH GENERAL INTERNSHIP WITH QUALIFIED HOST ORGANIZATIONS TO LEARN U.S. AGRICULTURAL SCIENCE AND METHODOLOGY, INCLUDING SEMINARS, FIELD TRIPS, AND GENERAL TOUR AND ON-THE-JOB TRAINING.

Programs can include social and recreational activities for people who are recovering from surgery or a serious illnesses; supportive services for children who are ill and for their families which enable family members to remain with a child who is hospitalized; family and sibling support groups, and programs which attempt to make a gravely or terminally ill child’s final days, weeks and months more pleasant.
