YUUT ELITNAURVIAT PEOPLES LEARNING CENTER IS A NONPROFIT CORPORATION IN BETHEL, ALASKA FORMED TO CREATE, ORGANIZE, OPERATE, AND MAINTAIN A VOCATIONAL EDUCATION CENTER TO PROVIDE EDUCATION AND TRAINING TO YOUTH AND ADULT RESIDENTS OF THE YUKON-KUSKOKWIM DELTA AND OTHER COMMUNITIES; TO ACQUIRE OR CONSTRUCT AND MAINTAIN BUILDINGS AND PROPERTY FOR SUCH PURPOSES; TO ENCOURAGE, DEVELOP, PROVIDE, PROMOTE, ENHANCE, AND FOSTER VOCATIONAL, EDUCATIONAL, AND TECHNICAL SKILLS AS SHALL BE USEFUL TO RESIDENTS IN OBTAINING GAINFUL EMPLOYMENT IN CAREER AREAS WITH AVAILABLE JOBS IN THE REGION.

TUNDRA WOMEN'S COALITION PROVIDES SAFE, EMPOWERING SERVICES FOR FAMILIES EXPERIENCING DOMESTIC OR SEXUAL VIOLENCE. WE SEEK TO PROMOTE VIOLENCE-FREE COMMUNITIES THROUGH CULTURALLY APPROPRIATE OUTREACH PROGRAMS, SUPPORTIVE SERVICES AND VIOLENCE PREVENTION PROGRAMS. TWC CURRENTLY INCLUDES A 30-BED SHELTER, A 24-HOUR CRISIS LINE, ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES, A LEGAL ADVOCACY PROGRAM, A COMMUNITY EDUCATION PROGRAM WITH A VILLAGE OUTREACH COMPONENT, A YOUTH VIOLENCE-PREVENTION PROGRAM CALLED TEENS ACTING AGAINST VIOLENCE, A CHILDREN'S PROGRAM, IRNIAMTA IKAYRVIAT (CHILDREN'S ADVOCACY CENTER), AN ENGAGING MEN AND BOYS PROGRAM, A HOUSING PROGRAM WITH TRANSITIONAL HOUSES, AND A THRIFT STORE.

RESCUE RE-HOME AND TO THE EXTENT POSSIBLE PROVIDE VETERINARY CARE TO UNWANTED AND NEGLECTED PETS IN SOUTHWEST ALASKA.

The goal of this organization is to work to prevent, predict or control the effects of disasters (e.g. floods, earthquakes, fires, tornadoes), to educate or otherwise prepare individuals to cope with the effects of such disasters or to provide broad-based relief services to victims of such disasters.

TO FURTHER THE INTEREST IN DOG SLED RACING; TO RE-ESTABLISH HISTORIC TRAILS IN THE LOWER KUSKOKWIM AREA OF THE STATE OF ALASKA; TO ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN AN ORGANIZATION TO FOSTER THESE AND OTHER ACTIVITIES INCLUDING DOG SLED RACES FOR THE RECREATION, INSTRUCTION AND EDUCATION OF THE MEMBERS, AS WELL AS THE GENERAL PUBLIC.

SOUTHWEST ALASKA ARTS GROUP IS A CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION THAT SUPPORTS THE ARTS IN BETHEL, ALASKA. OUR MISSION IS TO SUPPORT ARTISTS AND PROVIDE CULTURAL ENRICHMENT AND ENTERTAINMENT BY SELLING ARTWORK, PROVIDING CLASSES, AND ORGANIZING CONCERT AND DANCE PERFORMANCES.
