IT GIVES STUDENTS ACCOUNTABILITY, EDUCATION, AND THE OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE A POSITIVE INFLUENCE ON OTHERS' LIVES WHILE PROVIDING THE COMMUNITY WITH AN EFFECTIVE AND COMPREHENSIVE ALTERNATIVE JUSTICE SYSTEM.

MISSION:

SPIRIT OF YOUTH IS DEDICATED TO CREATING AND PROMOTING THE OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUTH INVOLVEMENT IN THEIR COMMUNITIES BY INCREASING CIVIC ENGAGEMENT, BUILDING LEADERSHIP, AND PROVIDING MEDIA RECOGNITION OF THE POSITIVE CONTRIBUTIONS YOUTH ARE MAKING STATEWIDE.

FACING FOSTER CARE IN ALASKA (FFCA) IS A NONPROFIT DEDICATED TO IMPROVING THE FOSTER CARE SYSTEM, DEVELOPING LEADERSHIP SKILLS AMONG CURRENT AND FORMER FOSTER YOUTH AGES 15-24, AND CREATING A NETWORK OF PEER SUPPORT FOR FOSTER YOUTH THROUGHOUT THE STATE.

The goal of this organization are the organizations whose members are in the real estate business who have affiliated for the purpose of promoting the interests of their trade.

PROMOTE SCIENTIFIC STATE OF ALASKA MANAGEMENT OF FISH AND WILDLIFE AND PROMOTE EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR USES BY ALL ALASKANS THROUGH EDUCATION, REGULATORY AND LEGISLATIVE PROCESSES, EMPLOYING LOBBYING EFFORTS WHERE NECESSARY.

EATAS MISSION IS TO ENHANCE PHYSICAL, PSYCHOLOGICAL, AND SOCIAL WELL BEING OF ALASKANS LIVING WITH DISABILITIES THROUGH THERAPEUTIC HORSEMANSHIP. EATA HAS THREE PROGRAMS: EQUINE-ASSISTED ACTIVITIES, AND THERAPIES; HIPPOTHERAPY; AND EQUINE-FACILITATED PSYCHOTHERAPY.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people to learn and become competitive in swimming, diving, snorkeling, surfing, water skiing, water polo, boating, white water rafting and other water sports. Coaching, access to a swimming pool or other facilities, sports equipment, and officials for competitions are generally included.

MUSEUMS ALASKA SUPPORTS MUSEUMS AND CULTURAL CENTERS IN ALASKA AND ENHANCES PUBLIC UNDERSTANDING OF THEIR VALUE.

THE ORGANIZATION WAS ESTABLISHED FOR THE PURPOSE OF ENCOURAGING AND DEVELOPING SOCCER IN THE STATE OF ALASKA FOR ALL AGES AND ABILITIES OF YOUTH

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to operate centers which offer, at a single location, a variety of recreational facilities such as athletic fields and courts, a gymnasium, a swimming pool and public lockers. Recreational centers usually offer an organized program of activities for community residents and provide all necessary equipment.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to focus on influencing public policy within the Community Improvement, Capacity Building major group area. Includes a variety of activities from public education and influencing public opinion to lobbying national and state legislatures.
