JINGLE CROSS ROCK IS DEDICATED TO THE SUPPORT OF THE UNIVERSITY OF IOWA CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL AND OTHER CHARITIES, PRIMARILY THROUGH THE ORGANIZATION OF BICYCLE RACES AND TV RIGHTS, THE PROCEEDS OF WHICH WILL BE DONATED TO THE HOSPITAL OR OTHER CHARITIES.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to operate outpatient facilities, many previously known as free clinics, established by the community rather than a hospital which provide basic medical care including physical examinations, immunizations, family planning, nutrition assistance and diagnosis and treatment of common ailments. Services are available on an ability-to-pay basis and target low-income and indigent community residents.

The goal of this organization is to conduct research and/or public policy research within the Health - General and Rehabilitative major group area.

MISSION:

GRACE THERAPEUTIC HORSE PROGRAM WORKS TO ENRICH THE LIVES OF OUR PARTICIPANTS THROUGH A COLLABORATIVE EQUINE ASSISTED PROGRAM. WE UTILIZE THE NATURAL BOND BETWEEN HORSES AND HUMANS TO FOSTER EMOTIOANL GROWTH AND HEALING, AND TO PROMOTE RESPONISIBILITY AND INTEGRITY WITH OUR YOUTH, AS THEY INTERACT WITH THER HORSES. WE INTEGRATE EQUINE-FACILITATED LEARNING WHICH HELPS TO IMPROVE COGNITIVE FUNCTIONING SUCH AS ORGAINIZING BEHAVIOR AND STRATEGIZING TO ACCOMPLISH GOARS, WHILE BUILDING RESILIENCE AND HEALTHY EGO STRENGTH.
