2022 WAS THE ORGANIZATION S FIRST OPERATING YEAR. THE ORGANIZATION RECEIVED A USD 5 MILLION GRANT THROUGH THE VI CATALYST FUND. THIS VI CATALYST FUND FOCUSES ON JOB GROWTH, ATTRACTING HIGH-VALUE BUSINESSES, CREATING A DIVERSE WORKFORCE, AND INCREASING ECONOMIC STABILITY TO BRING OPPORTUNITIES TO LOCAL SMALL BUSINESSES IN THE U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS IN 2022, THE ORGANIZATION AWARDED A USD 1.5 MILLION TERM LOAN AND BEGAN PROCESSING A SECOND LOAN WHICH WAS FUNDED IN 2023.

MEMBERS PARTICIPATE IN ACTIVITIES CONDUCTED BY THE ASSOCIATION SUCH AS THE ANNUAL TRADE SHOW AND TRAINING SEMINARS WHICH SERVE TO PROMOTE COOPERATION AND UNDERSTANDING AMONG ITS MEMBERS AS WELL AS ENCOURAGE AND PROMOTE HIGH STANDARDS OF SERVICE AND CONDUCT WHICH ARE IN THE BEST INTERESTS OF THE PUBLIC AND THE INDUSTRY.
