ELOISE GREGORY, TO ENCOURAGE INTEREST IN HORTICULTURE THROUGH THE CREATION AND MAINTENANCE OF PUBLIC GARDENS, AND TO PROMOTE THE DEVELOPMENT OF NORTH BRIDGE STREET IN THE TOWN OF BEDFORD AS A CULTURAL AND HISTORIC AREA THROUGH OUR GARDENING, OUR RESTORATION OF AN HISTORIC STRUCTURE BUILT BY JOHN WHARTON, AND OUR SUPPORT OF THE PROGRAMS OF THE BEDFORD CENTRAL LIBRARY, THE BEDFORD HISTORIC SOCIETY AND OTHER NEIGHBORING INSTITUTIONS.

The goal of this organization is to enhance the aesthetic characteristics of the built environment by acquiring and preserving open spaces for public enjoyment; planting trees, flowers and shrubs in public places; conducting recycling and roadside cleanup campaigns; and engaging in other environmental beautification activities.
