PROVIDE FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO THE DESERET FOUNDATION FOR MEDICAL EDUCATION AND RESEARCH, WHICH IS AN EXEMPT ORGANIZATION UNDER IRC 501 (C)(3).

TO FOSTER AND SUPPORT THE UTAH COUNTY CHILDREN'S JUSTICE CENTER PROGRAM (CJC) THROUGH RAISING PRIVATE AND PUBLIC FUNDS TO PROVIDE FACILITIES AND SERVICES FOR CHILD ABUSE VICTIMS AND THEIR FAMILIES. THE CJC STRIVES TO REDUCE TRAUMA TO CHILD ABUSE VICTIMS/WITNESSES AND FAMILIES BY FACILITATING A CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM RESPONSE WITH A MULTIDISCIPLINARY TEAM OF PROFESSIONALS AND PROVIDING THERAPY/SERVICES FOR VICTIMS AND FAMILIES IN A SAFE, CHILD-FRIENDLY FACILITY KNOWN AS THE UTAH COUNTY CHILDREN'S JUSTICE CENTER.
