THE HALLETTSVILLE CHAMMBER OF COMMERCE'S PURPOSE IS TO PROMOTE THE GENERAL WELFARE OF THE HALLETTSVILLE COMMUNITY, PROMOTE THE GROWTH, DEVELOPMENT AND CIVIC INTEREST OF HALLETTSVILLE; AND ENCOURAGE FRIENDLY RELATIONSHIPS AMONG TOWN, COMMUNITIES AND THE PEOPLE OF LAVACA COUNTY AND OTHER COUNTIES. IN 2021 APPROXIMATELY 300 PERSONS WERE MEMBERS OF THE CHAMBER WHICH SERVES APPROXIMATELY 5,000 PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN OR WITHIN A TEN MILE RADIUS OF HALLETTSVILLE.
