THE GREATER HEWITT CHAMBER OF COMMERCE WAS ORGANIZED TO PROMOTE AN ENVIRONMENT OF GOODWILL AND PROSPERITY AMONG BUSINESS, CITIZENS, AND COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS IN THE GREATER HEWITT, TEXAS AREA. THE CHAMBER STRIVES TO FOSTER, PROTECT, AND PROMOTE, THE COMMERCIAL, INDUSTRIAL, CIVIC, AGRICULTURAL AND GENERAL INTERESTS OF THE GREATER HEWITT COMMUNITY.

MISSION:

THE SAN ANTONIO ASSOCIATION FOR FINANCIAL PROFESSIONALS [SAAFP] IS A REGIONAL EDUCATIONAL FORUM FOR INDIVIDUALS INVOLVED IN ALL ASPECTS OF THE FINANCE PROFESSION. SAAFP HOSTS EDUCATIONAL LUNCHEONS AND NETWORKING EVENTS TO FACILITATE THE EXCHANGE OF CONCEPTS AND TECHNIQUES AND WORK TO INCREASE THE RECOGNITION OF THE FINANCE PROFESSION IN THE SAN ANTONIO AREA.SAAFP IS A REGIONAL AFFILIATE OF THE ASSOCIATION FOR FINANCIAL PROFESSIONALS [AFP], THE PROFESSIONAL SOCIETY THAT REPRESENTS FINANCE EXECUTIVES GLOBALLY. AFP ESTABLISHED AND ADMINISTERS THE CERTIFIED TREASURY PROFESSIONAL AND CERTIFIED CORPORATE FP&A PROFESSIONALCREDENTIALS, WHICH SET STANDARDS OF EXCELLENCE IN FINANCE. SAAFP'S EDUCATIONAL SESSIONS QUALIFY FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT FOR THE CPA, CTP, CCM, FP&A CREDENTIALS AS WELL AS CPE CREDIT FOR MEMBERS OF THE ACCOUNTING PROFESSION.

Many service clubs are chapters of national or international organizations.

The goal of this organization is to focus on influencing public policy within the Community Improvement, Capacity Building major group area. Includes a variety of activities from public education and influencing public opinion to lobbying national and state legislatures.

THIS ORGANIZATION IS A HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION WHOSE SOLE PURPOSE IS TO COLLECT DUES FROM THE RESIDENTS TO PROVIDE OUTSIDE MAINTENANCE AND MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS TO THE HOMEOWNERS CLUBHOUSE USED SOLELY BY ITS RESIDENTS.

The goal of this organization are the organizations like chambers of commerce, business leagues and commercial trade associations whose members are businessmen and women and merchants who have affiliated for the purpose of promoting the general commercial interests of the community or the interests of their own trade. [Many of these are found in section 501(c)(6) business leagues; and 501(c)(6) chambers of commerce.]
