THE COLONY BAND BOOSTER CLUB PROVIDES SUPPORT TO THE STUDENTS, DIRECTORS, AND FAMILIES OF THE COLONY HIGH SCHOOL BAND AND ITS MIDDLE SCHOOL FEEDER SCHOOLS IN AN EFFORT TO ENHANCE AND FURTHER MUSIC EDUCATION.

USING FUNDS RAISED THROUGH LOCAL FUNDRAISERS, WE PROMOTE QUALITY MUSICIANSHIP BY PROCURING CLINICIANS FOR GROUP SKILLS ENHANCEMENT, PROVIDE CHAPERONES AND SUPPORT FOR TRAVEL TO LOCAL,REGIONAL AND STATE COMPETITIONS. WE STRIVE TO PROMOTE A COMPETITIVE SPIRIT TO ACHIEVE THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF PERFORMANCE.

THESE SCHOLARSHIP AND GRANT FUNDS HELP PREPARE STUDENTS FOR FUTURE CAREERS IN A SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING OR MATHEMATICS (STEM) PROGRAM RELATED TO THE PIPELINE AND OIL AND GAS- RELATED INDUSTRIES.

TO SUPPORT MISSION LAIQUE FRANCAISE AFFILIATED SCHOOLS LOCATED IN THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA BY ASSISTING IN THE TRAINING AND RECRUITMENT OF TEACHERS, RESEARCHING AND PROMOTING BEST PRACTICES IN MULTILINGUAL AND MULTICULTURAL EDUCATION, WORKING WITH ACCREDITING AGENCIES IN THE U.S. AND IN FRANCE TO PROMOTE FOREIGN LANGUAGE AND INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION IN SCHOOL CURRICULA, ASSISTING IN THE PROMOTION AND DEVELOPMENT OF INTERNATIONAL DEGREES SUCH AS THE FRENCH BACCALAUREATE AND THE INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE, AND PROVIDING SMALL GRANTS FOR INNOVATIVE PEDAGOGICAL PROJECTS.
