THE PURPOSE OF THE AMERICAN REAL ESTATE AND URBAN ECONOMICS ASSOCIATION IS IN THE AREAS OF REAL ESTATE, URBAN ECONOMICS AND ALLIED AREAS TO 1)PROMOTE EDUCATION AND ENCOURAGE RESEARCH; 2)IMPROVE COMMUNICATION AND EXCHANGE INFORMATION ABOUT COLLEGE AND UNIVERSITY FACULTIES; 3)FACILITATE ASSOCIATION OF ACADEMIC, PRACTICING PROFESSIONALS AND RESEARCHERS.

STAND UP NASHVILLE'S PROGRAMS INCLUDE LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT, COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT OF NEIGHBORS ON ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ISSUES IMPACTING THEIR COMMUNITY, AND ADVOCATING FOR EQUITABLE HOUSING AND WORKFORCE POLICIES, AND THE MATERIAL AND STAFFING COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THESE ACTIVITIES.

ARCHITECTURAL AND PLANNING SERVICES BRING DESIGN AND PLANNING ASSISTANCE TO COMMNUNITIES LACKING RESOURCES.
