THE HAMBURG ALUMNI FOUNDATION WAS FORMED TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO THE HAMBURG CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT, A PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT CREATED PURSUANT TO THE NEW YORK EDUCATION LAW AND A GOVERNMENTAL UNIT AS REFERRED TO IN SECTION 170(C)(1) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE.
