THE MISSISSIPPI ASSOCIATION OF SCHOOL BUSINESS OFFICIALS (MASBO) WAS FOUNDED IN 1970 FOR THE FOLLOWING PURPOSES:THE PROMULGATION AND ESTABLISHMENT OF THE HIGHEST STANDARDS OF ETHICS AND PRACTICES IN BUSINESS METHODS AND PRACTICES.

TO PROMOTE SAFETY IN THE SPORT OF HUNTING AND USE OF TREE STANDS AND RELATED PRODUCTS. TO ESTABLISH AND PROMOTE STANDARDS OF ETHICAL PRACTICE AND TO PROMOTE COMPLIANCE WITH LAW.

HEART OF THE DELTA SUPPORTS ECONOMIC/COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES IN THE MISSISSIPPI DELTA. HEART OF THE DELTA FOUNDATION ALSO SUPPORTS THE MISSISSIPPI DELTA THROUGH TOUGH TIMES WITH DISASTER RECOVERY AND DISASTER RELIEF EFFORTS SUCH AS, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, FUNDRAISING.

THE GROUP ALSO WORKS WITH GROUPS WHO COME IN CONTACT WITH BAIL AGENTS INCLUDING JUDGES, PROSECUTORS, COURT CLERKS AND LAW ENFORCEMENT. THE ASSOCIATION WORKS TO PROVIDE EDUCATION AND ASSIST THESE GROUPS SO THAT THERE IS A BETTER WORKING RELATIONSHIP WITH BAIL AGENTS.
