STRENGTHENING ORGANIZATIONS: NEXUS BUILDS THE CAPACITY OF THE COMMUNITY-BASED ORGANIZATIONS AND THEIR LEADERS TO PROMOTE EQUITABLE AND SUSTAINABLE CHANGE IN THEIR COMMUNITIES. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH FUNDING AND ON-THE-GROUND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE. 2. DEVELOPING INNOVATIVE INITIATIVES: NEXUS CREATES THE SPACE AND PROVIDES SUPPORT TO INNOVATIVE INITIATIVES THAT ADVANCE EQUITY AND SUSTAINABLE CHANGE. 3. ALIGNING AND AMPLIFYING RESOURCES: NEXUS INTENTIONALLY CONNECTS LOCAL EFFORTS TO BROADER REGIONAL INITIATIVES, LINKING NEIGHBORHOODS TO REGIONAL INSTITUTIONS, DECISION-MAKING AND ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITIES.
