THE BWI COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION (ALSO KNOW AS "THE PARTNERSHIP FOUNDATION) IS A 501(C)(3) NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION ESTABLISHED IN 2008 THAT EXISTS TO TRANSFORM AND REVITALIZE THE CENTRAL MARYLAND REGION BY SUPPORTING AND IMPLEMENTING INITIATIVES WITHIN ITS STRATEGIC FOCUS AREAS. OUR STRATEGIC FOCUS AREAS ARE: TRANSPORTATION, ECONOMIC, COMMUNITY AND WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT, EDUCATION, HOSPITALITY, TOURISM AND LOCAL MILITARY SUPPORT.

The goal of this organization are the private foundations that make grants based on charitable endowments. Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

THE CHARLOTTE HALL ROTARY FOUNDATION INC IS ONE OF THE LOCAL CHAPTERS OF THE GLOBAL ROTARY CLUB ORGANIZATION, THE MISSION OF WHICH IS TO PROVIDE SERVICES TO OTHERS, PROMOTE INTEGRITY, ADVANCE WORLD UNDERSTANDING, GOODWILL, AND PEACH THROUGH OUR FELLOWSHIP OF BUSINESS, PROFESSIONAL, AND COMMUNITY LEADERS. TOGETHER, WE SEE A WORLD WHERE PEOPLE UNITE AND TAKE ACTION TO CREATE LASTING CHANGE - ACROSS THE GLOBE, IN OUR COMMUNITIES, AND IN OURSELVES. FRIENDS OF TONGA IS A VOLUNTEER-LED, NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT SEEKS TO CONNECT ALL PEOPLE WITH A VESTED INTEREST IN THE WELFARE OF THE TONGAN PEOPLE AND TO PARTNER WITH LOCAL TONGAN ORGANIZATIONS TO SUPPORT, ENHANCE, AND AMPLIFY EDUCATIONAL INITIATIVES, AND OPPORTUNITIES IN THE KINGDOM OF TONGA.
