CHOO SMITH YOUTH EMPOWERMENT IS DEDICATED TO DEVELOPING AND IMPLEMENTING PROGRAMMING THAT FACILITATES POSITIVE GROWTH IN THE LIVES OF THE YOUTH WE SERVE AS WELL AS THEIR FAMILIES AND THE COMMUNITY.

GTN FOCUSES ON IDENTIFYING AND NURTURING INTELLECTUALLY GIFTED YOUTH, PARTICULARLY FROM DEVELOPING NATIONS, WHO OFTEN LACK OPPORTUNITIES TO REACH THEIR FULL POTENTIAL. THROUGH A TRANSPARENT SELECTION PROCESS, STUDENTS ARE RECOGNIZED FOR THEIR APTITUDE IN MATHEMATICS AND SCIENCE, AND PROVIDED WITH RESOURCES LIKE ONLINE TRAINING, EDUCATIONAL TOOLS, AND ACCESS TO MATHEMATICS COMPETITIONS. THESE PROGRAMS EMPOWER STUDENTS TO DEVELOP CRITICAL THINKING AND PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS, POSITIONING THEM TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC GROWTH OF THEIR COMMUNITIES. GTN'S OPERATIONS ARE PRIMARILY BASED IN BALTIMORE, MD, WITH GLOBAL OUTREACH FUNDED BY PHILANTHROPIC CONTRIBUTIONS.
