THE INDIANA UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF MEDICINE SEES SERIOUS CASES WHERE PEOPLE SUFFER FROM ALS, PARKINSON'S AND OTHER BRAIN DISORDERS. MANY OF THE PATIENTS HAVE UNMET NEEDS. THERE IS A LARGE GROUP OF PATIENTS WHO HAVE SIGNIFICANT COMPONENTS OF STRESS, DEPRESSION, ANXIETY, MOOD, FEAR EXISTENTIAL CHALLENGES AND QUESTIONS THAT MEDICATION AND CONVENTIONAL MANAGEMENT DOES NOT ADDRESS. TO ADDRESS THESE CHALLENGES DOCTORS WORK WITH THE HERRON SCHOOL OF ART AND DESIGN TO CREATE AN ART THERAPY PROGRAM. THE DOCTORS CONTINUE TO DEVELOP CLINICAL CARE AND RESEARCH. ONE OF THE DOCTORS CO-AUTHORED WITH INDIANA UNIVERSITY PURDUE UNIVERSITY INDIANAPOLIS PROFESSORS AND ART THERA
