PROMOTE SAFETY, EXCELLENCE AND PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS; DISSEMINATE INDUSTRY SPECIFIC INFORMATION AND EDUCATION REGARDS THE PERMANENT COSMETIC INDUSTRY, ITS STANDARDS AND LONGEVITY.

The goal of this organization are the organizations like chambers of commerce, business leagues and commercial trade associations whose members are businessmen and women and merchants who have affiliated for the purpose of promoting the general commercial interests of the community or the interests of their own trade. THE PURPOSE OF THE WCDC IS TO PERFORM ALL FUNCTIONS NECESSARY OR DESIRABLE TO FURTHER ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FOR THE COUNTIES OF MORGAN, SCOTT, GREENE, MACOUPIN, MONTGOMERY, AND SHELBY COUNTIES AND SHELBY IN THE STATE OF ILLINOIS.

PROMOTE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND TOURISM IN GALESBURG AND THE SURROUNDING AREA. PROVIDE MEMBERSHIP ACTIVITIES SUCH AS NEWSLETTERS, MEETINGS, SOCIAL EVENTS, ETC.

TO SUPPORT THOSE RETURNING FROM PRISON AND OTHERS IMPACTED BY THE CRIMINAL LEGAL SYSTEM.
