MISSION:

Also included are social clubs that provide opportunities for people to meet and socialize with their peers at dances, parties, picnics, barbecues and other companionable events; and special interest clubs which enable people to share hobbies or other interests with individuals with those same interests.

These events are generally for the enjoyment of the athletes and are not at a high enough competitive level to be considered spectator sports.

THE NAPERVILLE YOUTH BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION, INC. IS A BASKETBALL PROGRAM ORGANIZED FROM GRADE THREE THROUGH EIGHT THAT PLAYS COMPETITIVE BASKETBALL AGAINST OTHER TRAVELING BASKETBALL PROGRAMS. THE PRIMARY PURPOSE IS SOCIAL IN NATURE BUT THE PROGRAM ALSO GIVES CHILDREN THE CHANCE TO PLAY A TEAM SPORT AND IMPROVE THEIR BASKETBALL SKILLS.

THE CLUB PROMOTES AND SUPPORTS HIGH SCHOOL HOCKEY IN CHICAGO COVERING THE NORTHERN SECTION OF THE CITY. CHICAGO HIGH SCHOOLS (PUBLIC OR PRIVATE) WITHIN THE GEOGRAPHIC PARAMETERS ASSIGNED TO CHICAGO NORTH, THAT DO NOT HAVE THEIR OWN HIGH SCHOOL HOCKEY TEAM, ARE ELIGIBLE TO PLAY HOCKEY FOR THE CLUB. THE CLUB IS MANAGED BY PARENT VOLUNTEERS AND A PAID HOCKEY DIRECTOR AND COACHING STAFF THAT ARE NON-EMPLOYEE CONTRACTORS. THE CLUB FIELDS TEAMS FOR A FALL/WINTER SEASON THAT STARTS IN SEPTEMBER AND RUNS THROUGH MARCH OF THE FOLLOWING CALENDAR YEAR AND WILL ALSO HOLD OFF-SEASON SPRING AND SUMMER TRAINING PROGRAMS.

The goal of this organization is to sponsor sports competitions for amateurs at the national, state, or international level or competitions at multiple levels including the international level.

The goal of this organization is to develop, maintain and make available to the general public recreational areas which are equipped with athletic fields and courts, campgrounds, picnic areas and a variety of recreational trails such as bridle trails, hiking trails, off-the-road vehicle trails and snowmobile trails.
