PEORIA AREA WATER WIZARDS, INC (PAWW) OFFERS PROFESSIONALLY COACHED AQUATICS PROGRAMS TO ALL AGES AND SKILL LEVELS, HELPING SWIMMERS GROW IN CHARACTER, PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT AND SKILL. PAWW ALSO MAINTAINS CENTRAL PARK POOL.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people to learn and become competitive in sports involving horseback riding and jumping. Coaching, access to riding and jumping facilities and officials for competitions are generally included.

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people to learn and become competitive in archery; fly or bait fishing; game bird, game fowl, or game animal hunting; fox hunting; and/or the use of firearms on the target range.

PROVIDE A GOLF COURSE WITH ITS RELATED ACTIVITIES FOR OUR APPROXIMATELY 250 MEMBERS AND THEIR GUESTS DURING THE GOLF SEASON.

STIMULATE AND ADVANCE THE GENERAL WELFARE AND SAFETY OF THE SPORT OF SNOWMOBILING. PROGRAMS INCLUDE TRAIL GROOMING, CLUB LIABILITY INSURANCE AND SAFETY EDUCATION CLASSES.

TO CARRY ON ACTIVITIES OF AN AGRICULTURAL, EDUCATIONAL AND SCIENTIFIC NATURE TENDING TO FOSTER, ENCOURAGE AND PROMOTE IMPROVEMENT IN SOIL, CROPS, LIVESTOCK, POULTRY AND EDUCATION. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED BY HOLDING ANNUAL FAIRS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES OF AN AGRICULTURAL AND HORTICULTURAL NATURE.

THE COLLEGE CONFERENCE OF ILLINOIS AND WISCONSIN (CCIW) EXISTS TO SERVE A SELECT GROUP OF PRIVATE COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES OF SIMILAR SIZE AND HERITAGE, WHICH SHARE A DEEP COMMITMENT TO SUPERIOR UNDERGRADUATE EDUCATION AND A COMMON PERSPECTIVE ON THE ROLE OF INTERCOLLEGIATE ATHLETICS IN THAT EDUCATION. THE CONFERENCE SUPPORTS THE FOLLOWING PRINCIPLES THAT DISTINGUISH THE CCIW AND ITS APPROACH TO INTERCOLLEGIATE ATHLETICS:STUDENT-FOCUSED APPROACH - CCIW SCHOOLS PLACE THE HIGHEST PRIORITY ON THE OVERALL EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE OF THE INDIVIDUAL STUDENT. ATHLETICS ARE VIEWED AS AN IMPORTANT ELEMENT OF A WELL-ROUNDED EDUCATION. STUDENT-ATHLETES ARE INTEGRATED INTO THE MAINSTREAM OF THE ENTIRE STUDENT BODY, RECEIVE NO SPECIAL PRIVILEGES AND ARE ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE IN OTHER CAMPUS GROUPS AND ACTIVITIES. OPRF PONY BASEBALL OFFERS MULTIPLE PROGRAMS FOR PLAYERS FROM OAK PARK, RIVER FOREST, FOREST PARK, ELMWOOD PARK, BERWYN, MELROSE PARK, AND SELECT AREAS OF CHICAGO.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people of all ages to learn, become competitive in and enjoy the organized recreational activity, sport or game of their choice. These programs may be offered by local clubs devoted to a particular activity or sport; may provide individual or team coaching assistance or instruction, access to equipment and facilities, and uniforms, if necessary; and may sponsor or make arrangements for athletes to participate in amateur competitions, usually at the local or regional level, and provide officials for games. These events are generally for the enjoyment of the athletes and are not at a high enough competitive level to be considered spectator sports.
