THE PROGRAM TEACHES THE VALUES OF TEAMWORK, SELF-DISCIPLINE AND SPORTSMANSHIP, RESULTING IN WELL-ROUNDED SCHOOL AGED CHILDREN. MEMBERSHIP HAS REACHED 515 LIFETIME AND CURRENTLY HAS 85 ACTIVE MEMBERS.

THE FLORIDA COALITION CREATES AN ENLIGHTENED COMMUNITY BY BUILDING INSTITUTIONAL CAPACITY AT BOTH THE NATIONAL AND LOCAL LEVELS THAT PROVIDE AND DEVELOP AFRICAN AMERICAN LEADERSHIP BY EDUCATING, ORGANIZING, AND MOBILIZING CITIZENS IN OUR COMMUNITIES. THE COALITION SEEKS TO ENCOURAGE FULL PARTICIPATION IN A BARRIER-FREE DEMOCRACY THROUGH EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND LEADERSHIP TRAINING THE COALITION WORKS TO EXPAND, STRENGTHEN, AND EMPOWEER OUR COMMUNITIES TO MAKE VOTING AND CIVIC PARTICIPATION A CULTURAL RESPONSIBILITY.

IMPROVING COMMUNICATION, STRATEGIC PLANNING AND SHARING OF TOOLS AMONG 501(C)3 ORGANIZATIONS WORKING TO FURTHER CIVIC PARTICIPATION; IMPROVING THE ABILITY OF 501(C)3 ORGANIZATIONS TO COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY ABOUT CIVIC ISSUES; INCREASING RESOURCES FOR CHARITABLE COMMUNITY ORGANIZATION TO ENSURE EVERY ELIGIBLE AMERICAN VOTES.
