IS DEDCIATED TO PROVIDING ARTISTIC OPPORTUNITIES FOR CHILDREN, PARENTS, AND OTHER MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC, PARTICULARLY THOSE FROM NORTHWEST CONNECTICUT, THROUGH EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS, EVENTS, AND FIELD TRIPS WITH PROFESSIONAL ARTISTS AND ART ORGANIZATIONS.

The goal of this organization is to provide informal arts educational programming and/or instruction but do not grant diplomas or degrees; or which offer services regarding the arts to educational institutions or to public entities involved in education.

GIFF SUPPORTED FILMMAKERS WITH PUBLICITY AND CASH AWARDS, GIVING OUT $10,000 IN CASH PRIZES FOR THE BEST SOCIAL IMPACT FILM AWARD TO MATTHEW HEINEMAN, DIRECTOR OF, "THE FIRST WAVE", WHICH WAS SELECTED BY GIFF'S JURY.B. GIFF GENERATED 2.3 BILLION POSITIVE MEDIA IMPRESSIONS FOR ITS FILMS, FILMMAKERS, CHARITY PARTNERS, THE STATE OF CONNECTICUT AND THE TOWN OF GREENWICH.
