THE PRIMARY EXEMPT PURPOSE OF THE VINELAND FIREMEN'S RELIEF ASSOCIATION IS TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL RELIEF TO ACTIVE AND RETIRED MEMBERS OF THE VINELAND FIRE DEPARTMENT. THE RELIEF IS PROVIDED TO THOSE MEMBERS AND THEIR FAMILIES WHO FILE AN APPLICATION FOR SUCH ASSISTANCE AND DEMONSTRATE THE NEED FOR RELIEF. THE MONEY FROM THE ORGANIZATION IS DERIVED FROM THE NEW JERSEY STATE FIREMEN'S ASSOCIATION, WHICH IN TURN RECEIVES FUNDS FROM A LEVY ON ALL FIRE INSURANCE PREMIUMS WRITTEN BY INSURANCE COMPANIES CHARTERED OUTSIDE THE STATE OF NEW JERSEY.

THE ONE HUNDRED CLUB OF SAN ANTONIO IS A TEXAS NON-PROFIT CORPORATION FORMED IN 1973. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES TO ASSIST SURVIVOR SPOUSES AND CHILDREN OF LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS, FIREFIGHTERS, AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL PERSONNEL WHOSE LIVES ARE LOST IN THE LINE OF DUTY WHILE SERVING THE CITIZENS OF BEXAR COUNTY, TEXAS. CERTAIN PROGRAMS MAY ENCOMPASS FIRST RESPONDERS AND FIRST RESPONDER FAMILIES IN GEOGRAPHICAL AREAS OUTSIDE OF BEXAR COUNTY. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO PROVIDES SCHOLARSHIPS, GIFTS, AND AWARDS TO SURVIVORS.
