THE PRIMARY FUNCTIONS OF NAFTNET ARE TO PROVIDE A COOPERATIVE CLINICAL RESEARCH NETWORK TO STUDY THE NATURAL HISTORY OF FETAL DISEASE; EVALUATE THERAPEUTIC PRENATAL INTERVENTIONS TO IMPROVE OUTCOMES AND TO MAKE DATA ON FETAL THERAPIES FROM THE MEMBERS AND AFFILIATES AVAILABLE TO RESEARCHERS APPROVED BY NAFTNET. IN ADDITION, NAFTNET WILL FUNCTION AS AN EDUCATIONAL RESOURCE FOR PATIENTS AND FOR HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS AND TRAIN FUTURE LEADERS IN BASIC SCIENCE RESEARCH IN THE FIELD OF FETAL INTERVENTION.
