TO ESTABLISH A PHOTOGRAPHIC AND AUDIO EXHIBIT TO COMMEMORATE ANNIVERSARIES OF THE SEPTEMBER 11, 2001 ATTACKS IN NEW YORK CITY. THE EXHIBIT WILL HONOR THE MEMORY OF THE VICTIMS AND FAMILIES OF THE ATTACKS AND WILL BE DESIGNED TO TRAVEL TO VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN THE UNITED STATES AND EUROPE ON SUBSEQUENT SEPTEMBER 11TH ANNIVERSARIES.

MISSION:

THE SOCIETY HAS OVER 300 MEMBERS. IT STORES AND PROTECTS HISTORICAL ARCHIVES AND PUBLISHED A BI-ANNUAL HISTORICAL VIEWS FOR THE TRI-COUNTY AREA. IN ADDITION, IT WELCOMED 1,400 PATRONS TO THE GILBOA MUSEUM IN 2022.

THE EDUCATION OF CITIZENS OF THE NEEDS, PRACTICES AND APPLICATIONS OF CONSTRUCTION, UPKEEP AND PRESERVATION OF A MEMORIAL HONORING ARMED FORCES VETERANS OF SOUTHEAST IOWA AND THE BENEFITS THEREBY ACCRUING TO THE COMMUNITY AND FUNDRAISING FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A MEMORIAL IN HONOR OF LOCAL VETERANS.

CONDUCT ENVIRONMENTAL PROJECTS INCLUDING RENOVATION OF FAILING SEPTIC SYSTEMS, AND COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL OF TIRES, TRASH, AND HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE IN 15 TO 20 COUNTIES AS A THIRD-PARTY CONTRACTOR TO TCEQ. PROVIDE MICROLOANS TO RURAL SMALL BUSINESSES, AND PROVIDE COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT GRANTS.

OUR LADY OF MT. CARMEL WAS FOUNDED IN 1875 AND WAS ESTABLISHED FOR THE PUBLIC DEMONSTRATION OF DEVOTION TO OUR LADY OF MT. CARMEL WITH A CELEBRATION IN HER HONOR DURING THE WEEK OF JULY 16TH WHICH INCLUDES A CARNIVAL & FOOD STAND, WITH NET PROFITS TO BE DONATED TO LOCAL CHARITIES

TO PROVIDE VETERANS WHO MAY NOT OTHERWISE HAVE THE PHYSICAL OR FINANCIAL ABILITY A MEANS TO VISIT THE VETERANS MEMORIALS IN WASHINGTON D.C. BY PROVIDING THEM WITH GUARDIAN AND FINANCIAL ASSISTED TRAVEL AND SUPPORT.
