THE MISSION OF SOUTH LA WETLANDS DISCOVERY CENTER IS TO REVOULTIONIZE THE WAY WE THINK, TEACH, AND LEARN ABOUT LOUISIANAS DISAPPEARING COAST. WE ARE CURRENTLY RAISING FUNDS TO FURTHER OUR MISSION

MISSION:

OUR MISSION IS TO PROVIDE ADULTS, FAMILIES, AND SCHOOL CHILDREN WITH EXPERIENCE-BASED EDUCATION PROGRAMS IN A TRADITIONAL FARM SETTING TO PROMOTE AGRICULTURE, WESTERN HERITAGE, ENTERTAINMENT AND EDUCATION THROUGH HANDS ON LEARNING EXPERIENCE.

KIDSTREAM PROVIDES AN ENGAGING ENVIRONMENT WHERE CHILDREN EXPLORE, PLAY, AND DISCOVER, INSPIRING THEM THROUGH INTERACTIVE EXHIBITS, PROGRAMS AND EXPERIENCES TO BECOME CRITICAL THINKERS, INNOVATORS, AND LIFELONG LEARNERS.

HABITOT OFFERS HANDS-ON EXHIBITS AND LEARNING EXPERIENCES FOR YOUNG CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES. ALONG WITH OUTREACH AND INCLUSION PROGRAMS FOR THE MOST VULNERABLE, HABITOT HAS WELCOMED OVER 1.5 MILLION VISITORS SINCE 1998 AND INFLUENCED GENERATIONS OF CHILDREN AND PARENTS IN RAISING CURIOUS, CREATIVE AND CONFIDENT CHILDREN.
