OAKLAND, CA

PURPOSE: Kalika Khetu is a remote village located in the Jumla district of western Nepal. Its health center serves as a medical clinic and birthing center to approximately 4,500 people from the village of Kalika Khetu and surrounding communities. In July 2021 GRID Alternatives supported financially by SolHomes and partner Gham Power installed a 4.875 kW photovoltaic system on the roof of the Kalika Khetu Primary Health Center.

PURPOSE: Footprint Project deploys Solar and Batteries to those who need them the most after climate disasters. They have been on the ground in response to Hurricane Ida since Sep 3 2021. Footprint Project will remain in Southeast Louisiana until the lights come back on in communities hardest hit by the storm. SolHomes along with DER Task Force partnered with the Footprint Project to support them financially for the Louisiana Disaster Recovery Project.
