PURPOSE: With support from Climate of Change, the Rochester Museum & Science Center will host Climate Action Days. This unique, two-day event for middle school students from underserved communities in both the City of Rochester and rural areas will inspire and empower participants through engagement with diverse local climate scientists, experts, and environmental justice activists as they progress through a series of stations featuring the museum's interactive climate related exhibits and green infrastructure.

PURPOSE: Train 10 Rochester city youth of color, ages 16-20, to become hike leaders. They will lead hikes (with certified adult hike leaders supervising) for children ages 10-15; teach their younger counterparts the value of our natural resources, and create a sustainable long-term lifecycle of learning, stewardship, and accountability for the environment.
