THE MAGNETAWAN WATERSHED LAND TRUST CONSERVES LAND THROUGH ACQUISTION AND CONSERVATION EASEMENT. IN 2021 THE LAND TRUST CONTINUES TO FULLFILL OUR MISSION WITH A PORTFOLIO OF LANDS FOR FUTURE ACQUISTION THAT WOULD INCLUDE A DIVERSITY OF ECOLOGICAL HABITATS WORTH CONSERVING DESPITE OF THE COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS.
THE MAGNETAWAN WATERSHED LAND TRUST CONTINUES TO STEWARD ITS PROPERTY AND EASEMENT. WE MAINTAIN OUR HIKING TRAILS, CHECK BOUNDARIES AND THE EASEMENT RESTRICTIONS ARE FOLLOWED.
THE MAGNETAWAN WATERSHED LAND TRUST PROVIDES ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES. IN 2021, MWLT OFFERED FOUR ONLINE PRESENTAIONS DUE TO COVID RESTRICTIONS. WE PROVIDED NATURE ARTICLE TO THE ALMAGUIN NEWSPAPER AND THE GREAT NORTH ARROW AND PRODUCED A REGULARLY PUBLISHED NEWSLETTER WITH OVER 400 PEOPLE SUBSCRIBING.
