AFFORDABLE HOUSING AND DEVELOPMENT - SAN DIEGO INTERFAITH HOUSING FOUNDATION SERVES THE PEOPLE OF SAN DIEGO BY PARTNERING WITH LOCAL JURISDICTIONS WITHIN THE COUNTY TO PROMOTE AND DEVELOP AFFORDABLE HOUSING FOR VERY-LOW TO LOW INCOME FAMILIES, SENIORS AND DISABLED PERSONS.SAN DIEGO INTERFAITH HOUSING FOUNDATION HAS DEVELOPED OVER 10 APARTMENT COMMUNITIES LOCATED IN DESIGNATED REDEVELOPMENT AREAS THROUGHOUT SAN DIEGO. IN TURN THESE DEVELOPMENTS HAVE ASSISTED IN STABILIZING THEIR SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES THROUGH STRONG MANAGEMENT PRACTICES INCLUDING REGULARLY SCHEDULED EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR MAINTENANCE, COMMUNITY POLICIES, COMMUNITY POLICING PROGRAMS AND STRONG RESIDENT SELECTION CRITERIA.
