THE MUSEUM HAS HOSTED THE FIRST PUBLIC EXHIBITIONS OF SEVERAL ACCLAIMED WEST COAST ARTISTS.A PERMANENT COLLECTION OF NEARLY 1,000 PIECES THAT ILLUMINATE THE HISTORY OF CRAFT IN THE WESTERN UNITED STATES, ALLOWING THE MUSEUM TO SERVE AS A CULTURAL AND EDUCATIONAL RESOURCE. THE MAJORITY OF PIECES IN THE COLLECTION HAVE BEEN DONATED, DEMONSTRATING THE MUSEUMS IMPORTANCE TO ARTISTS AND COLLECTORS.
