EDUCATION SUPPORT GRANTS THE EDUCATION SUPPORT GRANTS FUND LARGER NEEDS THROUGHOUT THE DISTRICT AND AT EACH OF THE SCHOOLS. THESE NEEDS ARE DETERMINED BY WORKING WITH ADMINISTRATORS AT EACH SITE, AND THE SUPERINTENDENT AND OTHER DISTRICT ADMINISTRATORS.
IMPACT GRANTS THESE CLASSROOM-BASED GRANTS ARE FOR INNOVATIVE, HANDS-ON PROJECTS. THE BUDGET FOR THE GRANTS IS SET BY THE ASF BOARD ANNUALLY. BECAUSE OF COVID RESTRICTIONS, THE CRITERIA FOR THESE GRANTS WAS OPENED UP TO INCLUDE NEARLY ANYTHING NEEDED FOR CLASSROOMS. TEACHERS WERE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY FOR GRANTS, APPLICATIONS WERE REVIEWED BY THE GRANTS COMMITTEE, WHO AWARDED THE FUNDS.
DIRECTED GRANTS THESE REPRESENT DIRECTED DONATIONS BY THE DONOR TO SPECIFIC PROGRAMS OR NEEDS IN THE ASHLAND PUBLIC SCHOOLS.
