THE MISSION IS TO ADVANCE THE SHARED INTERESTS OF ALASKAS HOSPITALS, NURSING HOMES, AND HEALTHCARE PARTNERS, TO BUILD AN INNOVATIVE, SUSTAINABLE SYSTEM OF CARE FOR ALL ALASKANS.

HOSPITAL PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENTS: FOSTER COMMUNICATIONS AND COOPERATION BETWEEN MEMBER PROVIDERS AND ALL OTHER ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS, PUBLIC OR PRIVATE, INVOLVED WITH THE PROVIDING OF HEALTH CARE; AND DO ALL THINGS POSSIBLE WHICH MAY BEST PROMOTE HEALTH CARE AS IDENTIFIED BY A STRATEGIC PLAN APPROVED BY THE GOVERNING BOARD OF DIRECTORS WITHIN AVAILABLE FINANCIAL RESOURCES.
