THE ORGANIZATION WAS FORMED AS A SUPPORTING ORGANIZATION UNDER IRC SECTION 509(A)(3) TO SUPPORT THE DELAWARE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION. RODEL STRENGTHENS DELAWARE'S PUBLIC EDUCATION SYSTEM AND WORKFORCE BY CONNECTING PARTNERS TO ADVANCE AND IMPLEMENT SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS.

RODEL IS ONE OF MANY PARTNERS INVOLVED IN THE NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED DELAWARE PATHWAYS INITIATIVE, A PUBLIC-PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP THAT INCLUDES THE GOVERNOR'S OFFICE, HIGHER EDUCATION, AND MAJOR LOCAL EMPLOYERS--ALL WORKING TOWARD CREATING MEANINGFUL JOB EXPERIENCES AND COLLEGE-LEVEL COURSES FOR HIGH SCHOOLERS. RODEL WORKED WITH PARTNERS TO CREATE A WORK-BASED LEARNING COURSE FOR HIGH SCHOOLERS, WHILE PATHWAYS ENROLLMENT GREW TO MORE THAN 26,000 STUDENTS STATEWIDE.RODEL HAS ALIGNED SUPPORT OF A BROAD COALITION WORKING TO ENHANCE AND TRANSFORM EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION THROUGH LARGE-SCALE POLICY CHANGES AND APPROPRIATIONS.
