VARIOUS EDUCATIONAL CONFERENCES AND OTHER MEETINGS HELD DURING THE YEAR. THESE CONFERENCES AND MEETINGS ARE USED TO DISSEMINATE INFORMATION AND TO INFORM OF INNOVATIONS IN THE FIELDS OF INFECTION CONTROL & EPIDEMIOLOGY. CHAPTERS PROVIDE ONGOING MEMBER SUPPORT AT THE LOCAL LEVEL, FOSTER COMMUNICATION AND NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES, DEVELOP STRONG LEADERS THROUGH MENTORSHIP AND LOCAL VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES, AND ADVANCE INFECTION PREVENTION ISSUES.
