PROVIDE THE GIRL SCOUT LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE TO GIRLS IN 19 COUNTIES OF CENTRAL AND EASTERN WASHINGTON AND 10 COUNTIES OF NORTHERN IDAHO. THROUGH THE PROGRAM, GIRLS PARTICIPATE IN EXPERIENTIAL EDUCATION WHICH SUPPORTS THEIR ACADEMIC LEARNING. SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES INCLUDE SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING AND MATH, FINANCIAL LITERACY, OUTDOOR EDUCATION, CIVIC PARTICIPATION, SELF ESTEEM AND ANTI-BULLYING PROGRAMS. THE COUNCIL SERVES APPROXIMATELY 4,000 GIRLS WITH THE SUPPORT OF 2,000 DEDICATED ADULT VOLUNTEERS.
