FREE MEDICAL CLINIC (FMC) PROMOTES AND DELIVERS FREE MEDICAL CARE TO UNINSURED OR UNDERINSURED INDIVIDUALS WITH LIMITED ACCESS TO BASIC HEALTH CARE SERVICES. FMC ALSO HELPS PROMOTE COORDINATION OF HEALTH CARE SERVICES AND EDUCATION TO THE PEOPLE OF THE REGION.

PRIMARY MEDICAL CARE - THE PRIMARY MEDICAL CARE PROGRAM PROMOTES AND DELIVERS FREE MEDICAL CARE TO UNINSURED AND UNDERINSURED INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE LIMITED ACCESS TO BASIC HEALTH CARE SERVICES. IN 2021, MEDICAL SERVICES WERE OFFERED TO 2712 PATIENTS WITH A TOTAL OF 5563 IN-CLINIC AND TELEHEALTH VISITS, AND COVID-19 VACCINATION AND TESTING COMMUNITY CLINIC EVENTS AT THREE CLINIC LOCATIONS (OAK RIDGE, HARRIMAN, AND BRICEVILLE). TO PROVIDE THESE SERVICES, FMC EMPLOYS 13 STAFF MEMBERS AND ALSO UTILIZES EXTENSIVE SUPPORT FROM OVER 60 MEDICAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERS.OUR NEWEST CLINIC WAS LAUNCHED IN BRICEVILLE, TN IN AUGUST 2021 TO BETTER SERVE THE NORTHERN PORTION OF ANDERSON COUNTY. THROUGHOUT 2021, FMC FOCUSED CONSIDERABLE EFFORT ON PROMOTING COVID-19 VACCINATION AND TESTING SERVICES, AS WELL AS PROVIDING COMMUNITY EDUCATION ABOUT THE RISKS OF COVID AND THE IMPORTANCE OF MITIGATION EFFORTS.
