YOUTHABILITY OWNS AND OPERATES WORK TRAINING FACILITIES TO ADDRESS THE ISSUE OF UNDEREMPLOYMENT FOR FOSTER AND LOW INCOME YOUTH IN OUR COMMUNITY. ANGELS OF HOPE THRIFT STORE HAS OPERATED IN ARCATA, CA SINCE 2006.

YOUTHABILITY PROVIDES ENTRY-LEVEL WORK AND JOB ETHICS TRAINING TO HUMBOLDT COUNTY YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULTS, AGES 16 - 24 YEARS OLD WHO ARE EMANCIPATED FROM FOSTER CARE, AND/OR ARE LOW INCOME, POVERTY LEVEL OR EMOTIONALLY DISABLED.IN 2021, 26 HUMBOLDT COUNTY YOUTH RECEIVED 2,400 HOURS OF ONSITE JOB TRAINING THROUGH YOUTHABILITY PROGRAMS.
