IN 2020 THROUGH END OF FY2021, OUR HILLEL FOUNDATION SERVED OVER 400 STUDENTS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ARIZONA CAMPUS. ALTHOUGH WE SERVE ANYONE, WE PRIMARILY SERVE JEWISH STUDENTS ON CAMPUS. DURING COVID WE PROVIDED THEM WITH COMPREHENSIVE OPPORTUNITIES TO ENGAGE WITH STUDENT LIFE AND HOLIDAYS VIRTUALLY AND IN-PERSON, INCLUDING MEAL PICK-UPS, SPECIAL PACKAGE DELIVERIES, ONLINE HOLIDAY SERVICES, SONG SESSIONS, PROCESSING SESSIONS, WORKSHOPS, CELEBRATIONS, AND MORE. THE CONTENT WAS STUDENT-LED AND STAFF-CURATED, ALLOWING STUDENTS TO BUILD SIGNIFICANT LEADERSHIP SKILLS AND SENSE OF AGENCY. THROUGH OUR PROGRAMMING WE EMPOWERED STUDENTS TO DEVELOP VIBRANT, MEANINGFUL, AND DIVERSE JEWISH COMMUNITY AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ARIZONA, EVEN AS THEY WERE SCATTERED ACROSS THE COUNTRY, INSIDE AND AT-HOME DUE TO COVID QUARANTINES.
