THE TUCSON HEBREW ACADEMY PROVIDES AN EXEMPLARY EDUCATION THROUGH STIMULATING, RIGOROUS ACADEMICS; INSPIRED JEWISH VALUES AND TRADITIONS; AND AN ENGAGING, SUPPORTIVE COMMUNITY.

SEE SCHEDULE OTHE 2020-2021 SCHOOL YEAR WAS ONE IN WHICH THA STRUGGLED THROUGH THE PANDEMIC WITH ZOOM CLASSES. THE TECHNOLOGY INTRODUCED IN 2019-2020 TO EACH STUDENT IN THE FORM OF CHROMEBOOKS ALLOWED FOR SUPERVISED DISTANCE AND HYBRID LEARNING. TO CONTINUE EDUCATION THROUGH THE PANDEMIC, OUR TEACHING STAFF WAS WELL EQUIPPED TO HANDLE LESSONS THROUGH HYBRID LEARNING.WE CONTINUED TO MONITOR OUR HYBRID LEARNING ENVIRONMENT AND IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE PIMA COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT AND THE ARIZONA HEALTH SERVICES, WE WERE ABLE TO RETURN TO IN PERSON LEARNING AFTER THE COVID-19 VACCINE BECAME AVAILABLE TO OUR FACULTY AND STAFF. EXTRA STAFF CONTINUED TO INCREASE CLEANING AND DISINFECTING AND USE OF PLEXIGLASS FOR FACULTY AND STUDENTS. THE SCHOOL CONTINUED TO CLOSELY ADHERE TO THE PROTOCOLS AND ADVICE OF THE CDC AND PIMA COUNTY HEALTH OFFICIALS TO PROVIDE INSTRUCTION IN THE SAFEST MANNER POSSIBLE. DURING THIS SCHOOL YEAR THE THA BOARD OF TRUSTEES LAUNCHED A NATIONWIDE SEARCH FOR THA'S NEXT HEAD OF SCHOOL. SIGNIFICANT FINANCIAL AND TIME RESOURCES WERE ALLOCATED FOR THIS IMPORTANT ENDEAVOR. THA CONTINUES TO GROW AND CHANGE TO MEET THE NEEDS OF OUR STUDENT POPULATION WHILE CREATING AN ENVIRONMENT FOR LEARNING THAT STRONGLY SUPPORTS OUR ESTABLISHED MISSION.
