Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

Part 3 - Line 4a

FALL T-SHIRT SALE RAISED $2,192.15, DONATED TO OUR PHILANTHROPIC PARTNER CIRCLE OF SISTERHOOD TO BENEFIT FEMALE EDUCATION EFFORTS. THE T-SHIRTS FROM THIS SALE WERE DONATED FROM THE COMMUNITY, AND THE ONLY PURCHASED SUPPLIES WERE FOR PACKAGING OR LABELING MATERIALS. THIS SALE IS A STAPLE IN THE COMMUNITY AND SERVES BOTH OUR MEMBERS TO GAIN NEW T-SHIRTS AS WELL AS THE WOMEN BENEFITTED BY CIRCLE OF SISTERHOOD.

TO ACHIEVE THE COUNCIL'S GOAL OF FRIENDSHIP, WE OFFERED A COMPLEMENTARY CYCLEBAR CLASS TO OUR 2,000 NEW MEMBERS THAT JOINED IN THE FALL. THIS CLASS HELD SPOTS FOR THESE WOMEN TO ATTEND TO BETTER THEMSELVES PHYSICALLY AND TO MEET OTHER WOMEN IN THE COMMUNITY TO FORM BONDS. THE RESERVATION FOR THIS CLASS WAS $800 AND THERE WAS NO MONETARY REVENUE.

TO PROMOTE LEADERSHIP WITH THE UPCOMING RECRUITMENT COUNSELORS, WE PAID FOR A PUBLIC SPEAKER FROM HER SORORITY JOURNEY TO PROVIDE A KEYNOTE SPEECH AND LEARNING MODULES. THIS SPEECH AND MODULES PROVIDED ADVICE AND LEARNING OUTCOMES FOR ABOUT 200 OF OUR MEMBERS TO IMPROVE THEIR UPCOMING LEADERSHIP. THESE MEMBERS THEN WENT ON TO SERVE AS RECRUITMENT COUNSELORS FOR THE FOLLOWING RECRUITMENT EVENTS IN THE FALL AND THEY MENTORED YOUNGER WOMEN.
